  • Why does the HOA have rules?
Our association's govening documents were established early when our neighborhood was developed. These documents along with our Rules & Regs are created to protect our community's property values, enhance our neighborhood's ambiance and manage our HOA's common areas.
  • How can I pay my assessment or fees online?
CPS has an owner portal which provides secure access to your account information. You have the opportunity to pay online, review account details and download HOA documents. You will need your account number and password to access this portal. If you do not know your account number, please email CPS at accounting@cpscolumbus.com
  • How do I apply for an exterior modificiation or architectural review?
Complete the architectural review form and email it to CPS. You can also contact their office directly. Once the completed application is prepared, CPS will forward that to the board for approvals. To help expedite your request, include as much detail as possible so a determination can be rendered insuring that the project will adhere to the requirements of the NOHOA Rules and Regulations (i.e. fence specifications etc). Most applications are readily approved so long as they comply with our documents and fit in with the overall neighborhood character.
  • Where should I get a new mailbox post?
The NOHOA Rules and Regulations describe the style and features of mailbox and mailpost requirements. The black mailbox itself is typically availabe from your local garden/hardware stores. The cedar post design is also available from Cedar Craft Products, Inc.. Click here for a link to their information. It is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure that the mailbox and post are in good condition.
  • What about exterior painting? Do I need approvals?
There is general muted, neutral color palette within our neighborhood. As long as your color scheme is consistent with the original build, then you may proceed without contacting the HOA board. If you would like to adjust your colors or color scheme, then we recommend you send the colors for quick review. The objective of the board is to ensure a harmonious fit within the neighborhood. All colors which do so will likely be approved.
  • What are the HOA Board's responsibilities?
HOA Board's Powers and Duties. The governing body (or board of directors) of the HOA is responsible for the management of all aspects of the association. It may delegate management of certain activities to other persons or businesses, such as a property management service, but it must retain ultimate control.
